Hey everybody! I hope everyone is doing well these days. Sorry for my absence and my lack of reply to your comments, kind words and

s. I've been a busy man and my life has been a whirlwind of extremes from sorrowfulness to jubilation with a sprinkling of absolute terror to keep things interesting. I've clawed my way back from my despair and made an effort to look at the bright side of life. I promise I'll be replying to you all very soon.
Things are better now and seem to be on the up and up. I'm managing a project by myself for the first time and it's terrifying and exciting. Nothing says "we trust in your abilities" like a company looking at you, handing you the keys to a multi-million dollar project and saying "you know what to do" while they walk away. I do know what I'm doing which is the scariest part. I never thought I would be in this position so soon with what I consider my little experience but I am.
As you've seen I've been doing some origami but I've been absent in submitting for the most part. I'm actually working of three large projects at the moment. I have three gifts I have to finish by this summer. I've actually employed a friend of mine to help me cut all the paper I need for them to size. I'm not sure if I can get them all done in time but she's been a huge help so far. I appreciate the help very much. I think the recipients are going to love and be blown away but the gifts.
As for the title of journal I got laser eye surgery! I am so happy I did. I've had glasses for the last 16 years of my life. I've enjoyed them for the most part (and I look quite dashing in them if I do say so myself lol) but with my career being outside with them at best have been an annoyance and at worst a hindrance. Nothing is more annoying than watching a tree branch catch and fling your glasses into the bush and having to crawl around in the mud to find them. No more said I! The entire procedure is an experience in itself and for those out there who are squeamish I'll spare you the details. There were a few times during the recovery though when my sight was less than with glass but better than without that the panicked thought "Oh my god what have I done!? What if this is as good as my vision can get and there is nothing to do to make better now!? Oh god!" crept into my head leading to a few sleepless night lol. I'm good though and things are amazing! I can actually see better than when I had glasses. The world is new and I've been seeing people and things differently. Be it the surgery or something else but a certain friend of mine has been looking rather ravishing

Take care everyone! My the world be your oyster and it's treasures yours for the taking!
