So I thought I should write a journal entry to express how flabbergasted I am the moment but I realize as I'm writing this that it takes words words to express how I'm feeling to which there are no words which is what it means to be flabbergasted. I would like to thank all of you for your kind words and praise, I am truly humbled by your love of my lamp. I would like to send a big thanks to the person(s) who suggested my lamp for a DD. I really don't know what else I can say but again thank you to all of you for the love and support. I'll make sure to thank the 600+ of you, it might just take some time.

So every once in a while I look at my life and think "Yeah D&D has got nothing on this!" and that's probably part of the reason I stopped playing. As a geologist I travel all around Canada and get to go to some AMAZING places.
